Sergei Shevchenko is born in 15 May 1960 in Kherson, Ukraine. He is a former striker of Soviet Union and Ukrainian. Shevchenko was also the coach of Ukrainian.
A plane was crash outside the Russian city named Yaroslavl and killed dozens of Russian people. There had also international hockey player Sergei Shevchenko.

Russian TV showed many people were crying and they were lit Candles. Sergei Shevchenko was laid in front of the stadium in Yaroslavl and lots of people, wellwisher and supporter came with flowers, scarves, flags and bearing lots of things.
Shevchenko was a history teacher and also principal of Yaroslavl's School Number 9. Lots of parents send their children to this school to learn literature, math, history and also hockey. 20 years ago the school set up its hockey project.
